Personal information we collect

How your personal data will be processed
We use your personal data in order to provide you with notice in writing of any contractual or marketing services. If you contact us via Toast Accountants website or in any other way (email, social media or phone call), we may process your personal data to be able to answer your request, to prepare a quote, to arrange the meeting, call or other communication.
We will send you our event announcements (i.e. webinars or conferences), company news, job vacancies and other marketing offers if you tick the box to receive news and updates from us when submitting a request. If you have consented to receive marketing emails, you have a right to withdraw your consent at any time - just click the unsubscribe button in any of our emails (please check footer) .
If you have registered for our event, or requested access to one of our previous events recordings or guides/magazines, we may process your personal data to invite you to our future events/conferences based on our legitimate interest.

How long will we keep your personal information
The time periods for which we keep your personal data depend on what we are using your information for. The criteria used to determine the time periods include:
- how long the personal information is needed to provide the accounting services;
- whether we are subject to a legal, contractual or similar obligation to retain your information.
All periods of retention are subject to our review and alteration and can be discussed individually.
If you have provided your personal information when contacting us about a specific enquiry (e.g. quote), we may retain this information for the duration of your enquiry.
If you have provided us with personal information as our client, we will retain this information for the duration of our agreement, and 6 years after termination of treaty relations or for as long as we are legally required.
If you subscribed to our marketing newsletters, it is not subject to any particular time periods. All our newsletters have an unsubscribe option, providing you with the option to opt out of receiving correspondence from us whenever you decide to.
Cookies Policy
We use “cookies” to collect information about you and your activity across this website. This may include your IP addresses, geographic location, browser and device you use, pages viewed etc. This information is used to improve our website and your user experience. This cookie is used for our online booking functionality. If you provide consent, this cookie also allows you to add your booking to your own calendar on your device. This cookie also registers infromation about your visit on our website which is used for internal analysis and to enhance your web experience. Calendly cookies are used to identify and authenticate users to the Calendly website and to save site login information for you. The DoubleClick cookies are placed on your device when you visit our website where there is content such as AdWords or YouTube (also owned by Google), which may set cookies on behalf of DoubleClick.
The Facebook pixel is a piece of code on our our website that gathers analytics about a visitors journey on our website, such as IP address, web browser used, page location and visits etc... These analytics may help our social media advertising by understanding the actions people take on our website. You can turn off facebook cookies in your web browser or mobile device or in your facebook account if you do not wish for these cookies to be activated during your visit.
The cookies that facebook use are known as session cookies which are deleted when you close your browser and persistent cookies, which stay on your rbowser until they expire or you delete them.

Stripe uses a cookie to remember who you are and to enable the website to process payments without storing any credit card information on its own servers.
This holds data on your visits to websites which use StatCounter. We solely use it to determine whether you are a first-time or returning visitor on each website and to estimate your accumulated unique visits per site. No personal information is stored in the cookie.
_grecaptcha is a functional cookie used by Google recaptcha. It's used for risk analysis in spam protection and may store browsing device information
